NCAEHA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The James M. Wordsworth Scholarship is endowed by the J.R.’s Goodtimes, Inc., an independent, privately owned holding company for J.R.’s Stockyards Inn, a fine dining steak house located in Fairfax County and J.R.’s Festival Lakes, a private group picnic facility located in Loudoun County, Virginia.  Jim Wordsworth has dedicated 30 years of resources to the community in providing young people with the tools and skills to learn self-sufficiency, build character, and promote community spirit.  He is a long time supporter of the National Capital Area Environmental Health Association’s annual dinners and in recognition of his generosity and support, the NCAEHA is announcing its first annual scholarship foundation in honor of Jim Wordsworth. The scholarship is specifically designed for environmental health professionals or for those obtaining an environmental health related degree or certificate.
