NCAEHA Public Health Policy Committee

 

Mission Statement

 

The NCAEHA Public Health Policy Committee is a committee of the National Capital Area Environmental Health Association.  The overall objective of the Public Health Policy Committee is to develop and disseminate positions on environmental health and safety issues in the Washington Metro Area within the scope of, or affecting, members of the NCAEHA.

 

The Committee may address all aspects of public health and safety where the knowledge and skills of the members can make a constructive contribution.  The Public Health Policy Committee may provide a vehicle for presenting the views of the NCAEHA to the public and appropriate elements of state and local governments.  The Committee will prepare and present positions in accordance with NCAEHA procedures.  The Public Health Policy Committee will work to provide NCAEHA members balanced, technically sound information which supports the established public policy positions set forth by the Committee.
