candice levenberry

Sr. Environmental Health Specialist

Arlington County Health Dept.

Candice Levenberry is the new Senior Environmental Health Specialist and District Standardization Officer for Arlington County Virginia. She has been an Arlington County employee since 2006 and an Environmental Health Specialist for the past 6 years.


She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Health from Old Dominion University in 2009. Candice decided she wanted to become a health inspector in 8th grade. She blames her love for science on the wonderful science teachers in the Arlington County Public School system.


Prior to her new position she managed the mobile food unit program, dog dining program, and oversaw the food facilities in the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The mobile food unit program has been her largest project and she successfully collaborated with the Fire Department to improve ventilation hood system safety on mobile food units.


Candice is truly a people person who enjoys meeting, working and educating people on environmental health issues.

Candice Levenberry is also the winner of the

2016 NEHA Certificate of Merit.
